Weekend Recap

This is what my weekend looked like. All that stuff is for donations...ALL OF IT... And that was only half of it. Now all I need to do is pack up the rest of it the stuff we own. 2 boxes down! The "big move" to Maine is now a month away. Were all tense yet excited, since there is so much left to do still. Ugh I have a list a mile long. I know I haven't been updating as much, but between the move and Ollie's new accquired ear infection, I've been mentally/physically swamped. Tomorrow I'll post some pics of our trip Linvilla Orchards last week! Happy Monday night!

Weekend Recap: Easter

Hope your Easter was great! Ours sure was. We went to my parents house for the whole weekend. We had an Easter egg hunt, did a little shopping, dyed eggs, ate tons of food! Wait did I mention the FOOD?! Omg, deviled eggs, potato salad, ham, pineapple cake, strawberry poke cake, candy, more candy and oh yeah CANDY! Marshmallow eggs<3 Ollie got to wear his cute and vintage Easter outfit. And despite having a horrible cold, with runny nose, coughs and all, he was a very happy baby! Here's some pics I snapped this last weekend.

Happy Monday!

Alive & Well

Ack! Wow it's been unusually long since I've posted. I assure you were fine, just had some crappy things happen in the last 2 weeks, including but not limited to, Roseola, Pinkeye, and a very loud, ignorant new neighbor. I've had to call the cops 6 times, the apt manager 5 times, the police station, and finally had to go down to the court house in person to fil complaint/see what we could do. It's been going on for 15 days and I'm exhausted.
Ollie is 25 weeks old and will be 6 months old on Sunday! He has his 6th month checkup on Tuesday, complete with shots, ugh. He's been trying to crawl, talk, and sit up! He hasn't quite grasped sitting on his own though and will lean from side to side. I recently ordered sone new things for him including a new shopping cart cover since ours kinda sucked. I got the JJ Cole shopping cart cover/high chair cover off Amazon with free shipping. I'm pretty excited about it, geeky I know! Today I finally recieved his amber teething necklace I ordered from Green Baby Clothing Co. It's not exactly what I had expected but it's still beautiful and looks great on him! He's already stopped drooling as much! And as I speak I'm bidding on a new carrier, or rather a sling, peanut shell to be exact. I really loathe our carrier, it kills my back and shoulders and I can only wear it for about an hour before I have to take it off. Hope I win! Cross your fingers!
I promise I'll update more often. The last 2 weeks were just...rough ugh.
Have a great weekend!

Doctor Doctor

I could tell by that smile he was feeling okay, but his little cough he'd produce every so often had me worrying anyway. Thus I called the Pedi and made an appt for tonight. He really doesn't mind the doctors office, but I on the other hand LOATHE it. It's not the waiting, or the appointment itself, or the doctors even. It's the sick kids in there with thier dumb parents who never taught them to cover thier mouths when they cough or sneeze. There was one girl in their tonight hacking up phlem at the checkout window while her mom ignored her and her coughing in the direction of a newborn waiting to be seen. It's literally a breeding ground for germs and Dave and I slather our hands with sanitizer the whole time we're there and after. Like everytime, I'll be crossing my fingers he doesn't get sick! He was fine btw, just a little cold, nothing treatable. He's also up to 12lbs 11.4 oz, a gain of one pound in 3 weeks! He'll be eating cereal before we know it.

He slept the whole way home, and is sleeping now after his feeding. Tomorrow the portrait guy is coming over to show us the pictures we had taken last weekend. He'll probably try and convince me we need "all these photos for memories and such", and I'll probably swoon over how cute they are and fall for it. Then Dave will sigh and bring me back to earth. We're kinda obsessed with pictures. Dave is a photographer by hobby, even though I take all the pictures for this blog. At least 400 of the 1100 pictures on my phone are of Ollie too. Not to mention he has 2 baby books and 2 picture books from Shutterfly. We LOVE Shutterfly too. They always send us coupons and offers. We just bought a book about the ABC's with Ollie's pics in it and Valentines day cards with his picture on the front for $14.00 shipped, saving over $50.00!! They rule. Later I'll post a list of things we literally couldn't live without.
